Please help little Fairfield!
Fairfield is a tiny kitten that was found in a pile of leaves with no mother in site. She has a protruding eye and was only about 3 weeks old when she was brought. Her foster mom has done wonders with her and she went from bottle feeding to solids. It was a struggle at first with trying to help her gain weight. She is now almost 3 lbs so she can have her eye surgery and be spayed at the same time. There is no way to save the eye, but the good news is she will be fine with the one eye and still full of cuteness!
The surgical cost is high so we need to raise $600 to offset her procedure and medications. Please help us give this beautiful girl a healthy future!
Pets are Family Too
Chandra Bishun-Freeman is helping animal shelters like ours by selling masks handmade by her mom and donating 20% of the proceeds. Here is a link to Chandra's story of why she is doing this. We want to say thank you to her for the $300 donation to NFSAW! If you would like to order masks, Chandra can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
Won't you help us?
Medical bills continue, donations are down, and we need your help! Even a small monetary donation will help us rehome more dogs in need of a rescue. Even a small monetary donation will help us rehome more dogs and cats and provide the care they need. COVID~19 has affected all of us, some more than others. We are helping our homebound seniors and our local residents by providing animal food to them since we are not taking in new animals yet!

We need your help in two ways
First, our donations are way down and we need your help. We know that this is a very difficult time for all Americans ~ job uncertainty and the possibility of illness is in all of our minds. We can only hope that you, our community, can give just a small amount to help us help the animals that cannot help themselves. We still are caring for the pets in fosters and with Spring, comes kittens (they are coming in already) and medical bills.
Second, we need foster homes ready for cats, moms and kittens, and orphaned kittens! If you have some time and a quiet area in your home, would you please consider being a foster parent? Please go to our Foster Program page to find out more!
