Foster Care Process
Step 1→Application
Fill out our quick foster application. It only takes about 3–5 minutes and helps us learn a little about your home and preferences.
Step 2→Learn
Our staff will provide a comprehensive foster manual. So you know what fostering looks like, what to expect, and how the process works. To make sure you feel comfortable and prepared.
Step 3→Matching & Support
Receive information about animals in need and get matched based on your preferences. NFSAW provides ongoing support, guidance, and covers necessary expenses throughout the fostering period.
Foster Parent Requirements:

Foster parent must be at least 18 years old.

Be able to provide an adequate space for foster pet.

Provide reliable transportation to animal's appointments.

Current pets must be healthy and up to date on vaccinations.

Willing to commit to fostering for a minimum of 2 weeks.

Complete the foster application process.
