Hazel says Thank You!

Thanks to all who donated towards Hazel's care!  This girl will be going to the cardiologist on July 13th and we are hoping for the best.  A generous friend of the shelter made a large donation which will cover her visit and additional testing.

Please keep our girl in your thoughts and prayers!

Won't you help us?

Medical bills continue, donations are down, and we need your  help! Even a small monetary donation will help us rehome more dogs in need of a rescue. Even a small monetary donation will help us rehome more dogs and cats and provide the care they need.  COVID~19 has affected all of us, some more than others.  We are helping our homebound seniors and our local residents by providing animal food to them since we are not taking in new animals yet!

Use the Donate Now button on top of the page!

Thank you!!!

Cat of the month ~

Meet Jega! He is a wonderful cat at only 2 years old!  He has a great personality and loves to hang out with you.  He gets along with dogs (foster has one) and doesn't mind other cats.  He has a unique look and is tall with a very long tail.  This handsome boy wants a home with lots of windows and a couch to stretch out on!

We need your help in two ways

First, our donations are way down and we need your help.  We know that this is a very difficult time for all Americans ~ job uncertainty and the possibility of illness is in all of our minds.   We can only hope that you, our community, can give just a small amount to help us help the animals that cannot help themselves.  We still are caring for the pets in fosters and with Spring, comes kittens (they are coming in already) and medical bills.

Second, we need foster homes ready for cats, moms and kittens, and orphaned kittens! If you have some time and a quiet area in your home, would you please consider being a foster parent?  Please go to our Foster Program page to find out more!

Dog of the month ~  ON HOLD

This is Scotty!  He is a very sweet southern boy who loves to play!  He is a  treeing walker coonhound, only weighing 45 pounds.  This is definitely a family dog who has an easygoing personality!  He loves his walks too!  So if you are looking for a happy energetic boy he may be the one!
