UPDATE
As we continue to evaluate what is needed to get through this situation, we have repeatedly called and emailed over 40 rescues and sanctuaries on the East Coast and we did find placement for nine FIV and/or FeLV cats who are going next week! We have eleven still needing placement.
In just seven weeks our medical bills are just over $32,600 with total expenses at over $68,000. To give perspective, we usually spend $32,000 in medical care over seven months. This is a huge set back. We are tired but will continue until every cat is placed.
We receive calls every day for help with kittens and community cats and are heart broken that we just can't help yet!
