Adoption Programs

NFSAW is proud to offer two adoption programs that benefit both people and animals.

Pets for Patriots

Pets for Patriots, helps save lives by helping United States veterans and service members adopt the most overlooked dogs and cats through approved shelter/rescue partners. The program is open to service and veteran members of the United States military from all armed forces and at any stage of their careers. Adoption fees are 50% off for Pets for Patriots adoptions.

NFSAW waives adoption fees for adopters 65+ when they adopt an animal that is 8+ years old.
